History of White House Fruit Farm
White House Fruit Farm has been a family owned and operated business since 1925. The farm was originally purchased by James and Clara White, who had a passion for growing fresh fruits and vegetables. They started with just a few acres of land, but over the years the farm has grown to over 500 acres. The farm is still owned and operated by the same family that purchased it, now in its fourth generation.
White House Fruit Farm is known for its wide variety of fresh produce, including apples, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, melons, pears and pumpkins. In addition to fresh produce, they also grow a variety of herbs and flowers. They also offer products such as jams, jellies and apple butter as well as honey from their own beehives.
The Whites have always been committed to providing customers with high quality products at a great value. They are dedicated to sustainable farming practices that ensure healthy soil and healthy crops for generations to come. All of their produce is hand-picked when ripe to ensure the best flavor possible.
White House Fruit Farm has become an integral part of the community over the years. Every year they host a pick your own event where customers can come out to the farm and pick their own fresh fruits and vegetables straight from the vine or tree. They also offer tours of the farm throughout the growing season so people can learn more about how their food is grown and harvested on site.
The White family takes great pride in providing fresh fruits and vegetables to their customers each year. As they look forward to many more years of farming tradition at White House Fruit Farm, they hope that customers continue to enjoy their high quality products for many years to come.
